Gregory S. Jeffrey (Founder)

After 30 years and 4,000 conversations with Major Gift donors, I know what it takes to earn their trust.

With an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, I’ll help your Catholic school or parish fine-tune its operations and address the broader issues affecting fundraising. Confident in your progress and plans, donors will be excited to invest in your capital campaign.

That means less stress for your team, deeper relationships with donors, and greater fundraising success.

Marvin R. LeRoy, Jr. * President & CEO

Marv has committed his entire 35+ year career to leading not-for-profit organizations in professional, volunteer, and consultant capacities. He has helped to advance the missions of dozens of entities in the education, health, human services, and arts and culture arenas, and has assisted with the raising of more than $350 million for wonderful causes.

He is also an adjunct professor in the Institute for Higher Education Leadership at the College of St. Rose, and regularly presents at conferences and workshops in the areas of fundraising, strategic planning, and legislative affairs.

In addition to his degrees from Siena College (BA, Political Science) and Sage Graduate School (MPA), Marv has also earned a graduate certificate in Fund Raising Management from Indiana University’s School of Philanthropy.

Beyond his work in the nonprofit world, he has also served in elected office for four terms as Town/County Supervisor in Saratoga County, NY, and served as an officer on the board of directors of Mohawk Community Bank.

His decision to create the Institute is grounded in his strong commitment to the nonprofit community, as well as his belief that far too many organizations in the third sector have so much more to offer if resources could be found to expand their missions.

Legecy Planning Partner

Legacy planning involves much more than just the management of your assets. It is about the spiritual and historical aspects of your life.

It includes the relationships you built, the stories you lived, the values you believed and the assets or heirlooms you acquired to pass on to your heirs.

The team of financial advisors at the Nonprofit Pros have a software program that for free will show you how they can find 3-13 legacy gifts for over 1 million in your database no matter how big or small your donor database is.

Wouldn’t it be great, if your organization had an experience like one of our nonprofit clients?

They turned a $500 a year donor into a $2,000,000 donor!
